The Founder of the defunct Democratic Party (FDP) and presidential candidate in the 2011 elections, Pastor Chris Okotie has not given up his hope of spearheading the affairs of the country.
His trashed party in a communiqué issued in Lagos by its Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Ladi Ayodeji, noted that FDP is in no way disturbed by the action of INEC, noting that Rev. Okotie would still run for presidency in 2015.
He said that the so- called deregistration will not be allowed to
stand. The PDP has no right to kill other parties in order to perpetuate
itself in power. He also stated that INEC’s action would not dissuade him from his commitment to promote good governance and a paradigm shift in the
political configuration of the nation, whether the governing cabal likes
it or not.”
