Police nabbed a Chicago woman who they say ran over her boyfriend, leaving him with severe burns to his chest, back and testicles. Christine A. Meyers is behind bars on a $100,000 bond after she allegedly ran over the unidentified man following a heated argument on Dec. 14 outside her home in Tinley Park, the Chicago tribune reported.The pair began fighting after Meyers, 23, picked her boyfriend up from a bar. When they arrived at Meyers’ home, her beau got out of the car and laid down in front of the vehicle.That’s when Meyers pushed the gas pedal, prosecutors allege.The young woman’s boyfriend suffered burns to his chest and back, as well as burns that tore off the skin of his testicles – an injury that later required surgery. Meyers faces a charge of aggravated domestic battery.Meyers’ attorney initially requested that the woman’s bail be set at $6,000. But Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. decided to set it even higher, at $100,000.
