Mr Toyin Hamzat, a former local government Chairman and one-time Special Adviser on Health to Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola was shot dead on Sunday night.
However, the Ogun State Police command is yet to officially issue a statement on the matter. Relatively, Lagos and Ogun state governments, which are both controlled by the Action Congress of Nigeria have kept sealed lips as at the time of filling this report.
Witnesses say he was killed last night while on his way to his hometown Ajepe ijebu in Ogun state.
Five men were arrested at the Sagamu area of Ogun State in connection with the assassination
It was learnt that he had just dropped a female companion when he was killed..*hmm*
