A 52-year-old woman gives birth after 25 years of marriage

 

At 52, when some women have already become grandmothers, the case of Mrs. Olukorede Obamo, a teacher in Ogun State, is different.

Olukorode who got married 25 years ago just had her first child last week.

Like other women in that kind of position, she had visited hospitals, herbal centres and countless other places; yet to no avail.

When in February this year, she conceived for the first time, she found it difficult to comprehend her body chemistry.

While speculation of Prince Williams royal heir kicked into heir gear last week, St. James's Palace this morning confirmed the worst-kept secret in England, and announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first baby...
 
"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the palace said in a statement this morning.
No doubt intending to keep this highly public news as private as possible, there was no word on whether Kate and Wills are expecting a boy or girl, or a possible due date for the little royal.

A Director of Ojukwu Transport Company Limited has said the wife of the late Biafran leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu-Ojukwu, Bianca, has no place on the directorship or trusteeship of the company.

Director, Mr. Ifeukwu Ojukwu, said on Monday that since OTL was owned by the late Sir Louis Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the late Biafran warlord could not dictate who the trustees or directors of the company should be.

My petition was turned down by the Police – Shot banker

 

Femi Badejo, the Access banker who was allegedly shot by policemen in Ikota area of Lagos State on November 10, 2012 has accused the police of insensitivity and refusing to accept a petition written by his lawyer to the state police command.

Badejo, who was shot along with his security guard while policemen were responding to a distress call about a robbery at his residence, said he was still incurring the costs of medical treatment.If you missed the story then you can read it Here
